Selected work

Software for people who like to
keep their tools close.

Three projects: a native Mac board for running AI coding agents, a trading desk that keeps every order behind a hard gate, and a media server that lives at home.

01

Kataban

A kanban board where every card is a real AI agent session.

kataban.app
The Kataban board: columns from Backlog to Done, each card carrying a prompt and a live agent session.

Kataban is a Mac app that turns a project folder into a kanban board. Each card holds a prompt. Move it into a column and an agent starts working on it inside your repo, with the plan, the files it touched, the transcript and the resulting changes all attached to the card.

  • Agents Claude, Codex or OpenCode, chosen card by card
  • Plans first read and revise a plan before any code is written
  • In parallel a git worktree per card, so agents never collide
  • Built with Tauri 2, React, a Go and PocketBase backend
Reviewing an agent's plan in Kataban and leaving an inline comment.
Revise the plan with inline comments before the agent starts.

One worktree per card keeps parallel agents separate.
02

Tickersmith

A trading desk on your Mac that runs agents, each one an isolated experiment.

tickersmith.app
The Tickersmith agents desk: running agents, their symbols and phases, pending approvals and open lots.

Every agent has its own strategy, allocation, universe, model and risk caps, and places orders through a Robinhood connection or a local paper account. Rule strategies like opening-range breakout sit beside LLM analysts and a multi-agent research desk. Code owns every number and every exit; a strategy only proposes.

  • Order gate a Rust gate is the only thing allowed to place an order
  • Exit loop stops and targets run on code alone, whatever the models do
  • Paper first every agent starts in paper; live is opt-in
  • Built with Tauri, Rust, React, ProductBase on Railway
The Tickersmith overview: balances, watchlist, a candlestick chart with VWAP, an order ticket and positions.
Manual trading works beside the agents. Not financial advice.

Home Media Server

A private media library and download pipeline, run from a Mac Mini.

Private, no public link

Look up movies and shows through TMDB, search and save YouTube videos with yt-dlp, and keep watch-later playlists. Sign-ups are disabled and every page needs a login. The web UI can run anywhere, while everything that touches the media drive stays on the Mac Mini and is reached over Tailscale. When that machine is offline the UI stays usable and simply explains what is unavailable.

  • Frontend Deno Fresh
  • Data PocketBase (SQLite)
  • Services Go scraper, yt-dlp API, Podman containers
  • Network Tailscale, with a VPN-protected download client
Everything below the line can go offline without breaking the rest.
